A pickup can cover the refrigerator alone or include other unwanted appliances and furniture. If a delivery team is already bringing your new unit, you can also check whether their service includes haul-away. Our pickup is separately scheduled and confirmed.

Compact Units
Small apartment, dormitory and under-counter refrigerators still need an agreed carrying and loading location. Tell us if the unit is freestanding or fixed in place, and whether other items are going with it.
Chest and Upright Freezers
Basement and garage freezers can involve stairs or long carrying distances. Empty the contents before the agreed pickup and allow defrosting and drainage to be handled as discussed with us.
Built-In or Commercial Equipment
Large, installed or commercial units need individual review. Model information, dimensions, connections and removal access help determine whether we can accept the job. Refrigeration repair and refrigerant recovery are not represented as crew services.
Preparation and Connections
Remove food, drinks and belongings that you want to keep. Let us know if the unit contains spoiled food, standing water, a leak or other contamination so the scope can be reviewed before pickup. Food cleanup is not automatically included in an appliance-removal quote.
Discuss unplugging, defrosting and any water-line disconnection before the appointment. An ice-maker line, hardwired connection or built-in installation may require a qualified service professional before hauling. Do not assume disconnection or cabinet modification is included unless it has been agreed.
Keep the Refrigeration System Intact
Do not cut refrigerant lines or remove the compressor to prepare the appliance. Refrigerant handling belongs in the appropriate processing chain. See the EPA guidance for appliance owners for preparation information.
Kitchen, Basement and Apartment Access
Photos of the refrigerator and route out help identify tight turns, steps and narrow openings. Include the approximate appliance dimensions and whether it is on the ground floor, upstairs or in a basement. If you are unsure whether it fits, leave the unit in place while the plan is reviewed.
In a condominium or managed apartment building, the pickup may need a freight elevator, reservation, service entrance or loading window. We confirm the carrying route and parking arrangements for your address. Door removal, railings or other property alterations are not assumed as part of the pickup.
An outside pickup can reduce carrying labor when the refrigerator is at an agreed accessible location. Confirm that option before moving it, and avoid blocking shared hallways or public access.

The quote depends on appliance size and weight, stairs or elevator access, carrying distance, connections, required preparation and the number of items. A compact unit at the loading area involves different work from a large kitchen refrigerator upstairs.

Refrigerators contain materials that require appropriate handling after collection. We review the receiving options for the unit and arrange hauling accordingly. Recycling depends on the appliance and receiving facility; we do not promise that every material will be recycled.

Can you take a refrigerator that no longer works?
A nonworking unit can be assessed. Tell us about its condition and any leak or contamination, along with the size and access, so acceptance and handling can be confirmed.
Do I need to move the refrigerator outside?
No. Ask for an in-home pickup if you need carrying help. An accessible outside option may cost less, but the location and preparation must be agreed before you move the appliance.
Do you disconnect the ice-maker water line?
Connections are reviewed before booking. Disconnection is included only when agreed; some installations require a qualified service professional to prepare the appliance first.
Can you remove refrigerator doors to make it fit?
We assess dimensions and the carrying route before confirming whether door removal or other preparation can be included. Do not dismantle the refrigeration system or assume modifications to the property are part of the quote.
Can another appliance be collected at the same time?
Yes, other items can be assessed as part of the same request. List each appliance or item so the crew, vehicle space and total price can be planned together.
How soon can you collect my refrigerator?
